MT10K - 10,000 Mitochondrial Genomes Project
Mission
This project aims to generate 10,000 mitochondrial genomes for major animal lineages.
Supervised by Prof. Xin Zhou, Dr. Shanlin Liu and Dr. Min Tang, I participated in or toke charge of the following work:
● Mitochondrial genome assembly
● Gene annotation
● Optimizing assembly and annotation pipelines (see the MitoZ project)
